EKCO has been a family business from the beginning. Founded by Stewart and Heather Bruce in 1999, the company has grown over the years to include kitchens, bathrooms, doors, windows and glass structures.
Today, Stewart and Heather’s children, Kaitlyn and Callum, are actively involved in managing the business too. Having grown up around EKCO, they understand the care, service and product knowledge customers expect from a family-run company.

Absolutely LOVE our garden office/room!
We wanted to work from home in a space that didn’t feel restrictive or small. Although we don’t have the largest garden, we didn’t want to move, so we spoke to the team at SpaceKube in Edinburgh. They designed a fantastic multi-purpose living and office space for us. Our 4x3m SpaceKube looks stunning and stays really warm in winter. The fit and finish are first-rate, and we always get compliments on it.

Great work Spacekube team!
We’ve used EKCO before for kitchens and bathrooms, so when we heard about their new garden rooms and offices, we got them out again. The service was exactly what we have come to expect. The process was very simple, from choosing the design to selecting flooring, windows and doors. We went for slimline bi-folding doors, which will finish it off perfectly. It’s meant to be an office, but the kids already have other ideas!

SpaceKube created a fantastic garden room for us, and we’re really pleased with the result. Unlike other companies we spoke to, they offered far more tailored options, including bi-fold doors, high-quality finishes and a great range of flooring choices. We also chose underfloor heating, which is ideal as it can get a bit cold up here in the Borders. The whole space feels practical, warm and finished to a very high standard.
